NYC, Brooklyn and Queens

New York City! i have lived there in the past for years. I especially like the graffiti in the 3rd picture which was taken in Queens (5 points). The first one is from uptown Manhattan (Harlem) and the second is from Brooklyn (Myrtle ave. and London Square). These were submitted by users. Please, if anyone would like to share anything at all, send to , Thank You Dustin!

I like this picture. There is something really beautiful about splashes of color against cold concrete. Maybe that is what Basquiat was thinking when he made his stake in the world.

I live in NYC...the trut is that there are not really abondoned areas any longer. They may seem like it - for examply the building look graffiti ridden and derelict on the outsiode, yet inside its brand new luxury lofts where stockbrokers can "slum it" , paying $10.00 for rent..

Graffiti doesn't automatically mean ghetto. 5 Pointz is in Long Island City in a relatively safe area. It's also right next to MoMA PS1, which makes it kind of a tourist attraction. The building is occupied by artists and graffiti writers.
