Newark New Jersey. This is where my wife is from, her mom had her at 16 years old a few years after she moved to Newark from Puerto Rico. Most of her family is from Newark and lives there now.

what do you mean a number? I didnt actually take the pictures from paterson but I don't live to far away. I became interested in paterson because of stories my wife told me about the area. She is from North Jersey (Newark Area) and has seen alot of that stuff. I don't remember exactly where I got the pictures, but I am open to anything...

yes i live in west orange wich is about 4 miles give or take from newark but yes it is mosly drug related about 90% of the murder are drug related my cuz is a cop there got sum crazy stories he got stabed by a junkie once place is pretty shity

When I moved out of Philly I moved to Cleveland then to Jersey City then back to Cleveland. Jersey City was straight ghetto. Probably the east coast would be ghetto america.
Newark is getting better now but all the black people are moving to irvington and east orange which are both FAR worse..

The constant reference to blacks all the time and the ghetto as though they are the primary make up of it doesn't make much sense to me. Much of the loud, rude people who have literally ruined the apartment complex where I llve in North Arlington, New Jersey happened to actually be Hispanic. I have actually had black neighbors who were halfway decent at the least and really hope and look forward to meeting the same from our "Spanish" friends in the future. It would really be a pleasure!

I've been in every hood on the east coast you can imagine, I've been in the repo business for 15 years,, I do most of my work in Brooklyn, the Bronx and Newark. In my 15 years doing this I never hesitated to get out of my truck in a ghetto, never left a car behind and never thought to my self 16 rounds isn't enough or today is the day I die..... Except in Camden, bullet holes in my truck and almost in me, I don't get paid enough to go back there.. Yes as someone already said "niggas" are animals.. i lived in orange then paterson, i lived in the east side section of paterson all well cared for mansions along the park but my taxes went from $6k per year to $27k so bye bye NJ I live in West Virginia now in a mid size city I never lock my door and I leave the keys in the car a shotgun here is the burglar alarm oh by the way I have a 12 room victorian built in 1890 with 2 acres I pay approx $600.00 a year RE tax, get out of the east coast its doomed !!!!!

i lived in the east side park section of paterson nj in the 70's and 80's and 90's my home on derrom avenue is on the historical list of east side mansions, 24 rooms a carraige house the neighborhood looks more like beverly hills then paterson, but approx 6 blocks away its a quasi ghetto. my taxes kept going up excedding 30 k per year. and its still rising. i grew up in orange nj when i was a kid in the 50's 60's it was an upper middle class bedroom community now its a quasi ghetto with rediculously high real estate taxes.nj is becoming a toilet bowl. ok bergen county is the wealthiest county in america only becuase it borders the hudson river and manhattan yes parts of nj are elegant, one is llewelyn park in west orange there on a million dollar estate you pay not only west orange tax and also county and state and the comunity tax, tax bill of maybe 50 k per year. nj is slowly but surely turning into a toilet bowl with patches of decent areas but most of its cities are ghettos i had enough i moved to west virginia 6 acres with a 1800's farm house my taxes are $24 a year thats not a typo its $24 a year zero crime if you run a stop sign its headlines in the paper. im 55 miles from pittsburgh so if i want to see a show, have dinner in a great restaurant or sports the pirates the steelers etc its all here. its a shame what happened to jersey, decades of corrupt officials. no one caring. white flight it made the state decay. bill bohaboy west virginia
