Brooklyn

Steve-O hasn't died yet, at least not that I know of. Last time I checked he had a TV. show on MTV called "Wild Boys" or something like that. However his day is coming soon i think. When you swallow broken glass followed by a shot of tequila while smoking PCP on a daily basis i don't know how long you have to live.

i think every city in the world has ghettos.. people call them ghettos because they see movies on the tv with black people in them doing drive by's and shit.. i live in belfast and where im from i could get rougher pictures an videos of all sorts of crime than that. its not all bad though, there still is decent people here

oh im very shocked by seeing this pictures, on monday i have a speech about the ghettos in america and i had searched for some information and pictures, im living in germany and i always knew that there are enough ghettos in america, of course everywhere, but the pictures of the poor people and dirty streets really shocked me, in germany i have never seen places like that, america is a rich country so there has to be done something against all the ghettos, thats my opinion!!

The Ghettos add charm to America, my parents both grew up in the bronx, worked hard and got out, its not like your life is over if your from the "ghetto" just stay away from gangs and drugs and your out

You need to get some pictures of East New York, Bedstye, Coney Island(not Astroland, but go deeper into the projects part), & Canarsie at the hood section. Also trying getting da New Lot housings complex...that's a sight to behold & also Brownsville.

To Paul: I agree that the run down, abandoned ruins of urban america can be appealing and inspiring, but there is nothing beautiful about these areas. To a passive observer the ghetto may seem like a thought-provoking environment, but to those who live there, life is a constant struggle.

To Pete: I agree that the ruins of urban america can seem appealing or thought provoking on the outside, but only a passive observer would call a ghetto beautiful. To those who live in America's hidden third world, life is a constant struggle and every time you set foot outside, you are taking a major risk. There is nothing beautiful about Our nation's disgustingly unequal distribution of wealth or its lack of concern for those in need.

This is my hood,I was born in Brooklyn.... and people don't believe there is a ghetto until they actually lived in one. I was raised in the projects of both Puerto Rico and Brooklyn.

When I entered Brooklyn the area I was in was straight ghetto. All I saw was gangs, poor people and everything. Brooklyn should go on the top ten list for worst ghettos!

to the guy shocked from germany. it's a simple concept. the gap between the rich the poor grows with each dollar made. the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. here in saint louis all the people with money moved across the river into a newly developed part of town called St. Charles/St. Peters and left all us lower middle class residents here in STL.
